Mr. NGENDA NYAMBE
Executive Director & CEO
Mr. Ngenda Nyambe is a seasoned and experienced banker with a career spanning over 20 years. He started his banking profession as a University Graduate Management Trainee in 1996 at Stanbic Bank and rose through the ranks, eventually working as a Director and Senior Executive at Standard Chartered Bank Zambia Plc, Barclays Bank Zambia Plc (now Absa Bank Zambia) and Zambia National Commercial Bank Plc. He has served in different roles in global markets, financial institutions, public sector, development organisations and commercial banking. He has also served in corporate governance positions as a non-executive director at Ecobank Zambia Limited, Indo Zambia Bank Limited, as well as other private and public sector institutions. Mr. Nyambe is a result-oriented person with a proven track record of surpassing targets in all organisations he has worked for and successfully contributed to the attainment of each organisation’s objectives.
Dr. Louis Kabula
Chief Financial Officer
Louis is a highly experienced finance professional with over 18 years of experience in the banking sector.

Mr. Misheck Mkokweza
Chief Corporate Banking Officer
Misheck Mkokweza has a strong background in operations, credit, relationship management, and corporate finance. He developed his expertise while working at various financial institutions, including Barclays Bank Plc (now ABSA), Citibank, and Ecobank. Mr. Mkokweza has assumed significant leadership roles within these organizations, guiding teams and stakeholders to achieve their objectives. In addition to his commitment to professional growth, he is also passionate about coaching others. He shares his knowledge and experience to help colleagues and emerging professionals succeed in their careers.
Mr. Chibotu Chiyasa
Chief Retail Officer
Chibotu Chiyasa is a banking and finance professional with over 22 years of experience. He began his career at Standard Chartered Bank Zambia Plc in 1999 and later joined Zambia National Commercial Bank in 2010. From 2018 to 2021, he worked as the Chief Commercial Officer at the Zambia Industrial Commercial Bank (ZICB). Currently, he is the Chief Retail Officer at ZICB. Throughout his career, he has developed expertise in various areas of banking and finance, including corporate banking, retail banking, and product and channel development and management. Additionally, Mr. Chiyasa has significant experience in the microfinance sector, having worked in this field for a few years. His skills include product development, sales and service, relationship management, credit analysis, loan structuring, and credit documentation, among others.
Mr. Thulani Muchiya
Chief Risk Officer
Thulani has over five years’ experience in the audit and consultancy of Banks and Financial institutions in Zambia and four years’ experience in risk management.

Mr. Andrew Chimasa
Chief Digital & Marketing Officer
Andrew is a Digital Transformation Specialist with 12 years Banking experience. He has demonstrated a wealth of experience formulating, localizing and executing Digital transformation, Customer experience and Marketing strategies.

Ms. Mwangala Muyoyeta
Chief Information Officer
Mwangala is an experienced IT professional with over 15 years of managerial experience.

- Team member with Harvard Institute for International Development (HIID) on modernisation and automation the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA)
- IT Director in the South African Government
- Consultant for various institutions including Business Connexion, Bytes Technology Group, Bull Computers, Microsoft, DeBeers, Sappi, Murray & Roberts, PPS Insurance, Nestle, Reckitt & Colman, Barlow World, Toyota, AngloGold, South African Revenue Services (SARS), South African Government Departments of Justice and Constitutional Development, Constitutional Court of South Africa, State IT Agency (SITA) and Gauteng Provincial Government.
Ms. Karen Kabange Kapika
Head – Treasury
Karen is an ACI-qualified banking industry professional with 10 years’ experience in treasury and financial markets.

Manyando is a highly experienced banker with over 17 years of experience in the sector.

Mr. David Ndumba

David is an experienced HR practitioner with over 20 years of Management Experience.

Mr. Eric Mukombo
Head – Credit
Eric Mukombo is the Head of Credit at Zambia Industrial Commercial Bank Limited. He holds a Master of Arts in Economics from The University of Manchester and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The University of Zambia. With over nine years of banking experience, he specializes in credit analysis, loan portfolio management, and credit policy formulation. He previously served as Chief Credit Officer at United Bank for Africa (Zambia) Limited, Credit Manager at First National Bank (Zambia) Limited, and Loan Officer at AB Bank (Zambia) Limited. Mr. Mukombo is results-oriented and has proven expertise in central bank guidelines and credit risk management.
Mrs. Hlupekile Luhana
Head – Internal Audit
Hlupekile is qualified Chartered Accountant with twenty years of experience in the auditing domain of which fifteen years have been at a senior management level. She is experienced in internal auditing of financial institutions having worked for BancABC and Cavmont Banks. She held the position of Head Internal Audit at Cavmont Bank Limited (CBL) prior to joining Zambia Industrial Commercial Bank.

Ms. Mwape Mondoloka
Bank Secretary and Legal Counsel
Mwape Mondoloka is currently employed by Zambia Industrial Commercial Bank Limited as Bank Secretary and Legal Counsel, having joined the Bank in October 2021 from Absa Bank Zambia PLC where she had served as Company Secretary from January 2007. Mwape holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) from the University of Zambia and is a member of the Zambian Bar. She also holds a Master of Business Administration (International) from the Edith Cowan University in Perth Australia. Mwape is an Advocate of both the High Court and the Supreme Court of Zambia and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Mwape has a wealth of experience in the corporate world spanning over thirty (30) years with exposure in the energy sector, the mining sector and the financial sector. Past employers include senior legal positions in the Energy Regulation Board, Zambia Privatization Agency, and Chambishi Metals Plc. Her key areas of practice are Company Law, Practice, and Corporate Governance. In 2020, Mwape was recognised by the Diligent Modern Governance 100 program. The Modern Governance 100 is a community of governance professionals who have been nominated for their innovation, resilience, dedication and empathy in the face of a complex and ever-changing world.
Mr. Kumesa Kauta
Head – Procurement & Shared Services
Kumesa Kauta is an experienced professional in Operations and Supply Chain Management, with over 17 years of expertise. Before joining Zambia Industrial Commercial Bank, he served as the Procurement and Administration Manager at Indo Zambia Bank (IZB), as Procurement Manager for Operations at the National Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA), and as Assistant Production Superintendent at Lublend Limited, a lubricant blending company. He has acquired extensive experience in the petroleum, pension/public, and banking sectors.
Ms. Mutauka Imasiku Kazoka
Manager – Compliance
Mutauka is an Accredited Certified Compliance Professional with over 7 years’ experience in Compliance Risk.
